⠀⠀⠀Cause and effect is a relationship between events or things, where one is the result of the other or others. This is a combination of action and reaction. ⠀⠀⠀Cause vs Effect In everything that we do, there is always a result. Just as the things that we do are sometimes the result of some specific event that led us to do it, we do things because we feel it is the right thing to do. When we eat, we always feel full and satisfied and the reason we ate is because we felt hungry in the first place. The chain of events seems endless. In every effect, there is always a cause. For a person, his death might mean an end to the happenings in his life but his death can be the cause of events to happen to the people around him that can influence their lives. The relationship between cause and effect has always been subject to debate. Both are related to changes and are two events wherein the second is understood as the result of the first event. Cause and effect ca...

The Zero Conditional hi everyone today i'm gonna explain you about the zero type conditional. so attention please! We can make a zero conditional sentence with two present simple verbs (one in the 'if clause' and one in the 'main clause'): If + present simple, .... present simple. This conditional is used when the result will always happen. So, if water reaches 100 degrees, it always boils. It's a fact. I'm talking in general, not about one particular situation. The result of the 'if clause' is always the main clause. The 'if' in this conditional can usually be replaced by 'when' without changing the meaning. For example: If water reaches 100 degrees, it boils . (It is always true, there can't be a different result sometimes). If I eat peanuts, I am sick. (This is true only for me, maybe, not for everyone, but it's still true that I'm sick every time I eat peanuts) Here are some more examples: If peopl...

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Passive Voice' what is passive voice? in general we tend to use the active voice. that is when a subject does an action to an objec ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1. Somebody stole my laptop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀(subject = Somebody / action(verb) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= stole / object = my laptop) The passive voice is used when we want to emphasize the action (the verb) and the object of a sentence rather than subject. This means that the subject is either less important than the action itself or that we don’t know who or what the subject is. My laptop was stolen . (The object – now the subject = My laptop / action= was stolen) Passive: Napa Valley is known for its excellent wines. Active: [Many people] know Napa Valley for its excellent wines. Passive: Twenty civilians were killed in the bomb explosion. Active: Someone killed twenty civilians in the bomb explosion. The passive agent When we know who the subject is, we put it at the end with by. We call this an agent. Passive: The ...
